Bottom line, this event exists to change the 25 year old treatment for Aplastic Anemia, in order to give my wife Kelly, and all those who suffer from this rare & deadly disease, a fighting chance for life. With that said…
Jana Wrenn (9 yrs old) has Severe Aplastic Anemia. She and her family volunteered at both annual rides. Jana’s only hope for survival now is a bone marrow transplant that started Jan 20th. This procedure is 40 days, followed by 100 days of isolated monitoring in hopes her body fully accepts the transplant. PLEASE join our prayer vigil for 140 days on behalf of Jana…& her family. THIS is what the Jackson County Brevet is all about. Yes, it’s a bike ride, but it’s about real life survival. We encourage you to post on our Facebook page. Aren’t a Facebook member? Send your comments to this email. All emails/FB posts will be shared with Jana & her family.
This year, the 3rd annual Jackson County Brevet is dedicated to Jana Wrenn & Madeline Detraz (Aplastic Anemia transplant survivor).
See ya on the road…
