We made it through the winter. Though it was not necessarily very cold, it certainly was the windiest winters that I can remember in quite a while. Now that all our cars (and bicycles) are turning green from the pollen, the 2013 cycling season is in full bloom.
If you look at any ride calendar, there are NO shortages for organized rides. Many weekends, you have to choose between what rides you are going to do. That can be a good and a bad problem.
Here are just a few rides that you may or may not know about:
1 Can Ride, April 21st (Grayson, Ga)
If you have never done this ride, you are missing some super great routes…which happen to be some of my favorites. You will be taken well care of and fed handsomely after your ride. Say ‘Hi’ to my friend Cliff Hagan (Ride Organizer). REGISTER HERE
Roswell Mayor’s Ride, April 28th, (Roswell, GA)
If you live anywhere near Roswell, then you know that Mayor Jere Wood is a HUGE cyclist and advocate for our sport. This 9th annual ride is quite popular for a city that has a National Bike Friendly designation. REGISTER HERE.
Tour de Cashiers, May 4th (Cashiers, NC)
Here’s your chance to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway in style and support. A very popular ride for this area. Views are incredible, to say the least. REGISTER HERE
