Slamming The Door On Georgia Female Cyclists? A MUST Read…

This just showed up on my personal Facebook page?  If I read it correctly, Georgia Bicycle Racing Association (GBRA) just yanked the opportunity for any young female cyclist, to ever compete (during the Championships), on an even playing field.  Until now, there has been a separate female category, even though the past female racers were combined with boys their same age.  At least keeping a separate category, gave the young ladies something to race for.

As of now, it seems like GBRA…for reasons unknown or willing to express or respond to…have unalaterally eliminated the separate female categories.  It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see that a 10-yr old girl stands about NO CHANCE, when racing against a 12-yr old boy.

This is like the recent HB689 against cyclists…but THAT came from the outside.  THIS dramatic change is coming from the inside!!!  Not good…

Click on the picture above and then tell me what YOU think.  I hope you also share with other cyclists and let’s collectively let GBRA know our thoughts.
