Eat at Chili’s and they will ‘Give Back’
May 13, 2015
There’s a lot of companies that do a ‘Give Back’ promotion, as part of their community involvement. Chili’s restaurants are no different.
Mark your calendars for May 13, 2015 (Wednesday) and go out to eat (for dinner) with as many folks as you can. Why? All 34 metro Atlanta Chili’s restaurants will take a portion of their gross sales and then cut a check to THE KELLY WILHITE APLASTIC ANEMIA RESEARCH FUND at Emory University, the benefactor for the Jackson County Brevet.
Of the 300 or so who are diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia (AA) each year in the USA, 95% are children 15yrs old…and younger. Yes, we are talking about little kids. As you would expect, something so rare gets almost no attention and especially funding to help advance research to give those affected a fighting chance at life. Now, it’s just a bit easier to help. Just go out to dinner on May 13th.
This is a HUGE ‘shot in the arm’, so to speak, as the Give Back from Chili’s will most certainly boost what is donated to the FUND at Emory University. By the way, when you continually hear how little money that donated to so many charities…actually goes to directly helping the cause (instead of fat salaries, etc), we are SUPER excited to boast that $0.90 of every $1 we donate to Emory University, goes DIRECTLY to clinical research for Aplastic Anemia. Folks, this is unprecedented, especially when the treatment for AA hasn’t really changed since 1986; that’s almost 30 years!!!
1. mark May 13th, 2015 on your calendar
2. share this post with every person you know in metro Atlanta
3. get as big a group to go with you as possible
4. eat as much as possible
Chili’s will do the rest!!! Oh, make sure you do some intense work outs leading up to the 13th, so your appetite will be much bigger than normal. Hey, just a thought….. Let’s make Chili’s write a REALLY big check.
See you on the 13th at a Chili’s near you…with LOTS of food on the table!!!
